#1 I Offer Free Room Mock Ups With My Art

Step 1) SEND ME A PHOTO OF YOUR BLANK WALL

Be sure to capture your wall with as bright and even lighting as you can and email it to me at rachel.painter.artist@gmail.com with the name(s) of paintings you are interested in.

Step 2) I'll DIGITALLY place the painting on your wall

Using PhotoShop I’ll email you an image with your painting(s) to give you a feel for how the painting could look in your space (see image above).

Here’s an example…

Kerry and I worked together through a series of emails, discussing the best frame choices for her seascape painting of Cornwall to suit her red and white kitchen decor as well visualising it in a room mock up.

KIND WORDS FROM

Kerry Campbell

We were looking for an artwork to decorate our new extension and, as we love Cornwall after many happy holidays there, I was really pleased to find Rachel’s collection online. I loved the seascapes with wild flowers in the foreground. The painting we purchased is absolutely beautiful with speckles of flowers and a vivid sunset over the sea behind, adding a lovely splash of colour to our new room and looks gorgeous. Rachel was so helpful, selecting a frame that complimented the painting and our decor, and it’s now hung in pride of place above our breakfast bar!

#2 Test the Positioning With A Template

Alternatively, you can visualise a painting in your home using paper cut to the size of the framed painting and lightly tack to the wall where you’re thinking of it hanging. This is great to test the size of the painting in your space.

#3 Use A Wall Visualiser App

Although quite often used for artists to help market their art, some apps come with the ability to take a photo of your wall and add an image of your painting in-app. Here are few you could experiment with:

WallApp

Although as the name would suggest WallApp is not a mobile app. It’s a website that you can upload your own wall photo too and position the image of your painting.

ARTSEE

Download ARTSEE and take a few pictures of the blank walls you’d like to fill with art. ARTSEE makes shooting and sizing the walls easy. With ARTSEE on your phone, you can take photos of artwork anywhere, superimposing them on your walls at home, creating artwork wall previews that we call “hangups”. You can easily export your creations or share them with your partner, friends or family.

I hope you’ve found this helpful. If you have your eye on any of my originals or prints and are curious to see what they’d look like in your home- feel free to email me at rachel.painter.artist@gmail.com.
